Vineyard Wind LLC, an offshore wind development company 50 percent owned by funds of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and 50 percent owned by Avangrid Renewables, LLC, is currently in the permitting and financing process for the first large-scale offshore wind energy project in the United States.

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners K/S (CIP) is a fund management company founded in 2012 by senior executives from the energy industry. CIP and its executives have developed some of the biggest offshore wind projects in the world, and CIP manages more than $4 billion in assets.



Anbaric has recent experience in the development and construction of transmission projects of similar type, size and technology. Anbaric has helped develop two major HVDC transmission lines from New Jersey to New York State: the first, to Long Island, is the Neptune Regional Transmission System, completed in 2007, and the second, to Manhattan, is the Hudson Transmission Project, completed in 2013. The company is privately owned and it or its principal, Edward Krapels, has been in the transmission development business since 1999. The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan owns 40 percent of Anbaric.
